Cecilia Calderón has over 14 years of experience in Labor Law and Labor Procedural Law. In her professional practice, she has led labor aspects of M&A transactions, including labor due diligence, implementation of staff transfers, alignment of benefits, changes in employment conditions, and collective dismissals.

She has broad experience advising multinational companies during their market entry in Peru, conducting disciplinary proceedings, managing inspection processes before SUNAFIL, and delivering in-house training — including mandatory sessions on prevention and sanctions regarding sexual harassment.

She is a certified labor arbitrator and is listed in the National Register of Arbitrators for Collective Bargaining of the Ministry of Labor and Employment Promotion.

Cecilia holds a law degree from Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú, a Master’s Degree in Human Resources Management from EAE Business School (Spain), and an LL.M. in International Business Law from Centro de Estudios Garrigues and Universidad Antonio de Nebrija (Spain).

She teaches undergraduate and postgraduate programs at Universidad Peruana de Ciencias Aplicadas and in the Executive Education area of Universidad de Lima. She has participated as a speaker in various labor law conferences and seminars and is the author of several articles on Labor Law.
